The MWS School Store has been developed as a community service to provide parents and visitors with unique, beautifully crafted items, craft materials, handmade toys, gifts and school supplies at a reasonable price. Parent volunteers operate the school store and all profits go directly to Minnesota Waldorf School.
The School Store often sells handwork from the Parent Handwork group and items that are handmade by the 7th and 8th grade students to raise money for their 8th grade trip. In addition, the School Store sells artisan wares on a consignment basis.
School Store hours are posted in the Update and usually include times before and after school and an occasional afternoon depending on volunteer availability.
During the Holiday Fair, the School Store is stocked up with many holiday gift ideas and expanded into the Parent Lounge area. It is open during both the Friday evening and Saturday family event, and remains open until the last day of school before winter break.
